OUR EXPERIENCE IN THE EXPO NACIONAL FERRETERA ON 5-7^TH SEPTEMBER 2024

Hey, guys! Millano’s staff has participated in the EXPO NACIONAL FERRETERA 2024 in Guadalajara, Mexico!

And here we want to share with you guys this unforgettable experience!

The day before the exhibition was the day of setting up our booth, and it was the start of the good impression we had from the local people. To give you an idea, I will tell you how people from other stands helped us from the first moment we stepped inside... At the very first, we were lost in the huge space, and did not know how to get to the booth, hahaha, despite having a digital map on hand, we did not know at which point we were, so we had to ask the people next to us, and they were certainly very kind to guide us and make us understand that each aisle was numbered, so we just had to follow that numerical order to find ours. After arriving at the booth, we realized that we had left the box cutter inside the shipping package, hahaha, something very stupid on our part, so we had no choice but to borrow a box cutter from the guys at the booth in front of us, and yes, they were super nice saying yes.

Watching all around, we discovered that compared to our stand, which was not very decorative (we have to admit it), the stands around us were very well ornamented, you could see that people had dedicated time and effort to offer an impeccable aesthetic to the public, we saw people who built two floors in those few square meters we had, and others who climbed to the top to paint the walls. In short, it was spectacular the dedication they had put in, and as a result, in the three days of the exhibition, we could see a great variation of stands.

In fact, in those three days of exhibition, the atmosphere was very lively, large and small stands were giving their all to attract more visitors, some booths were giving away snacks, others were organizing mini parties, let's just say that everyone was having a great time. The visitors, apart from finding their supplier, also enjoyed all the wonders that people had set up.

It was our honor to attend such a famous exhibition, and there we were able to see and learn a lot. As the faucet market is under continuous change, and the tastes of each customer vary from one day to another, investigating the products that are in trend every moment is one of our most important missions as faucet manufacturers! So apart from giving a good service to the dear friends who passed by our booth, in our free time we have gone to see other faucet stands, and as a result, we have made many friendships, but also we know better how the preferences of the importers and distributors in Mexico, which will help us a lot in our future cooperations with Mexican customers.

                                                                                                                                                       

On the one hand, we have spoken with many large companies, and leaders in this section in Mexico, such as “Urrea”, “Rugo”, “FAMA”, “IUSA”, “ROCA”, etc. And they generously shared with us their catalogs, and patiently introduced us to the product lines they had, from there we were able to conclude the current trend. We are very grateful for the time they spent with us.

On the other hand, we attended to all those who were interested in the faucets we had exhibited, and we took good note of the needs they asked for so that we could send them the corresponding samples.

A curious fact, many people were interested in our products, but it was the first time they imported, for those who do not know, imports carry an import tax, and usually, importers have to have their customs agent lend a hand when it comes to release the goods at customs. Millano, in this case, only offers a FOB price, I mean, importers have to take into account the cost of freight, agents in transport and customs, and import tax.

We have received many comments saying that our quality is very good and very competent, that made us very happy because it is a great recognition of the hard effort that the whole team has put to produce the best article.

And many people loved our taps so much that they kept asking if we sold the samples. At first, we didn't know how to deal with all the samples, after all, we weren't going to take them back to China, so when a visitor offered to buy all the taps at once, we accepted without further ado, as everyone would gain by doing that.

In conclusion, this experience was unique, we saw and learned a lot, the truth is that we hope to attend next year as well, but now what is coming up is the CANTON FAIR, which we are going to attend as well. So, guys, look forward to our visit to the CANTON FAIR this October 2024.
